My name is Michal Pavlásek and I am a photographer. I photograph mostly people, weddings and most of all models - and that fulfills me more than anything else. Capturing the moments when a young lady blooms in front of the camera, when a bride sees her groom for the first time. That look on a model's face after the photo shoot, saying: "Is that really me?"
But there is administration involved.
Emails. Spreadsheets. Databases. Calendars. More emails. Forgotten passwords. Customers who want previews. Other customers who have received previews but don't know how to select and send their selections. Appointments. Sending files. And even more emails.
After photo shoots, I would sit at my computer and copy notes from one place to another. I began to suspect that I had not become a photographer, but a secretary to the photographer, that is, myself.
So I took matters into my own hands.
I like a system in things. Routine, with established rules. I gradually built a system that has saved me a lot of time over the years. Customers receive previews automatically. Orders are registered by themselves. Dates are in one place. And I - finally - take photos.
I realized that I am not the only photographer who spent evenings emailing and texting instead of Photoshop. That the problem I had is the same for many others.
So I decided to make the system that changed my life (okay, I am exaggerating a bit - but it really saved me a lot of nerves) available to other photographers.
LoveMyStudio is the result. A simple, clear and practical tool built by a photographer for photographers. No frills. With everything you really need.
"The best system is one you don't think about while you're working. It just works."
